Stove Alert Audio Message Activated when exiting your Home

When attached to your door - the Motion Sensor will activate the audio Stove Alert Reminder

Stove Alert - Your Stove Check Reminder

How does it work and what does it do?

The Stove Alert Motion Sensor attached to a door detects movement by sensing changes in it’s surroundings, often using infrared and sound waves so that when a person enters the Stove Alert sensor's field, it disrupts the established pattern, triggering the sensor to send an electrical signal thus activating a recorded voice within the device to alert the person exiting the house through that particular door where the motion sensor is attached.

What is the actual Stove Alert Motion Sensor Message Reminder that is heard when exiting the home?

The Stove Alert Motion Sensor audio message is;

STOVE ALERT REMINDER repeated three times:

"STOVE ALERT REMINDER, STOVE ALERT REMINDER, STOVE ALERT REMINDER".

The audio message is female Ai voice generated.

How do I install it?

Installation could not be easier. The device comes with two-sided adhesive tape and also with two screws to attach to the door or the wall adjacent to the door giving you a choice of quick and easy installation.

The motion sensor activates within 2.8 meters – so therefore the Stove Alert Motion Sensor will activate if attached on the door or close to the door on the wall.

Before attaching, test a suitable location.

Suggestion: before installing, tape the device against the wall adjacent to the opening side of the door to test the activation of the motion sensor.

How do I charge it?

The device comes with 3 AAA batteries and a digital charging USB cable.

Dry battery standby time is 300 days. We recommend testing and periodically charging the device.

Charge mode – three #7 dry battery. DC5V*1A

What is the sensor motion distance?

Motion distance in 2.8 meters.
Motion Angle – up and down 60 – left and right 110.

How many doors should we protect in our home.

That depends on a few things:

1/ the number of doors used by home occupants when exiting your home

2/ the size of your family

3/ the number of people using the kitchen stove

4/ whether you have seniors or elderly living in your home, especially if dementia, forgetfulness or being sleepy due to medication is a concern

5/ if you have fast paced teens who may forget to turn off the stove before hurrying out the door.

6/ one other important factor to keep in mind. Many seniors and elderly people may from time to time retire for the evening forgetting to check the stove first before sleep. We strongly recommend a Stove Alert Reminder installed on the door or wall to their bedroom.

How was the Stove Alert developed?

Stove Alert was first presented in a digital format in 2016. The founders are registered Health Care Providers, former members of a Search and Rescue Marine Team and Captain of a Toronto Metropolitan Fire Station Squadron in Toronto, Canada. Stove Alert was invented to help families keep safe in their homes and prevent catastrophic kitchen fires which have exceeded over 300,000 in North America in the year 2024 alone.

In the United States, residential fires caused an estimated 3,000 deaths in 2024. These fires also resulted in 10,400 injuries and $11.2 billion in property damage according to the National Fire Protection Association. The NFPA says that residential fires account for about 80% of all fire deaths in the US.

In Europe, with some estimates suggesting that 50% of house fires are related to kitchen fires. Specifically, 49% of house fires in the UK start in the kitchen, according to Insurance Claims UK. While specific numbers for the entire EU are not readily available, the impact of kitchen fires is significant, with over 5,000 people dying in residential fires across Europe each year.

Stove Alert does not only give you the peace of mind knowing that the home occupant exiting the home will be reminded to check the stove before leaving the premises, but it will also significantly decrease your chances of house fires leading to loss of your home, personal property and valuables and worse ... the loss of life!

Safety and Peace of Mind can be secured for only $39.
